- Ver.di union strikes on public bus and tram services

- City-Bahn serves Chemnitz with several lines
Chemnitz - The service trade union Ver.di is planning a strike on public transport in Chemnitz on Friday. CVAG, ETP and the regional transport companies RVE, Regiobus and RVW are affected. The City-Bahn will not be on strike as it is conducting its wage negotiations with the German Train Drivers' Union (GDL) (see City-Bahn press releases 2 + 3 + 4/2024).
The C11, C13, C14 and some of the C15 lines will be running on Friday in the city centre.
- C11: Chemnitz Hauptbahnhof Zentralhaltestelle Annaberger Straße Altchemnitz Klaffenbach Stollberg and return: The line runs every hour, and every 30 minutes during peak times.
- C13 Burgstädt Chemnitz main station Reitbahnstraße Reichenhainer Straße Technopark Aue and back. The line runs every hour.
- C14 Mittweida Chemnitz main station Reitbahnstraße Reichenhainer Straße Technopark Thalheim and back. The line runs every hour.
- Line C15 Hainichen Chemnitz currently terminates at Chemnitz Hauptbahnhof and serves Hilbersdorf in the Chemnitz urban area. The line runs every hour.
