Then we are looking for you as

  • First point of contact for our passengers
  • the face of the City-Bahn Chemnitz
  • Advisor for our customers on VMS and Deutsche Bahn fares, timetables and connections
  • Rescuing passengers in an emergency in the event of disruptions, during replacement services and at major events, both on the train and on the platform
  • Everyday hero for people with limited mobility
  • Ticket inspector
  • Key figure in the management of ticket machines, the distribution of passenger information and quality surveys

To make it work with us, you need

  • Completed training or qualification as a train attendant or customer advisor in local transport
  • a valid car driving licence and a vehicle
  • Good knowledge of VMS and Deutsche Bahn tariffs
  • Very good knowledge of German and basic English
  • a well-groomed, friendly and self-confident demeanour
  • Enjoy dealing with people and a high degree of service orientation, sense of responsibility, commitment, resilience, ability to work in a team and empathy
  • Self-organisation and personal responsibility
  • Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays for our passengers
