Chemnitz - Cable thieves have stolen 50 metres of signalling cable between the Reichenhain and Einsiedel stops at night. The Citylinks of the City-Bahn are therefore travelling more slowly in this section. As a result, all services on the City-Bahn lines C13 (Aue Chemnitz Burgstädt) and C14 (Thalheim Chemnitz Mittweida) are affected.
Passengers can expect delays of up to 30 minutes and occasional train cancellations. The route operator is not expected to be able to rectify the disruptions until Tuesday, 12 November 2024 in the afternoon. City-Bahn asks its passengers for their understanding.
