Chemnitz - Due to the defusing of an aerial bomb, there will be considerable disruption on the City-Bahn lines C11, C13 and C14 today (26 March 2025).
The Altchemnitz area is affected, the exclusion zone extends to Chemnitz Reichenhain. The defusing operation is expected to begin at around 11 a.m. and last around two hours.
During the defusing period, the Lines C13 and C14 Trains coming from the direction of Aue/Thalheim only run as far as Einsiedel station. Trains travelling from Burgstädt/Mittweida will only run as far as Chemnitz Technopark.
The Line C11 coming from the direction of Stollberg can only travel as far as Neukirchen / Klaffenbach station and from the direction of Chemnitz main station probably only as far as Chemnitz Krenkelstraße (Scheffelstraße).
As early as 9.30 a.m., individual stops in the evacuation area will be open. No exit The bus can still be boarded. This affects the C11 stops Riemenschneiderstraße and Chemnitz-Altchemnitz and the C13/C14 stops Chemnitz Reichenhain, Chemnitz-Erfenschlag and Chemnitz Erfenschlag-East.
