- Einsiedler Brauerei invites you to the Oktoberfest on 14 September 2024
- Two special trains run at night as a joint service of City-Bahn and the brewery

Chemnitz - Visit the Einsiedeln Oktoberfest on Saturday, 14 September 2024 in comfort without a car: Einsiedler Brauerei and City-Bahn make it possible. Two unscheduled special trains will take party guests back to Thalheim or Chemnitz at night.
The first train departs from Chemnitz Central Station at 11.45 pm on Saturday, stopping at Einsiedel Brauerei at 0.11 am after serving the usual stops. The train continues with stops at all stations in the direction of Thalheim, where it arrives at 0:32.
Train 2 (return) departs Thalheim at 0:53 on Sunday, arriving at the brewery at 1:14 and terminating at Chemnitz Central Station at 1:41. Once again, all stops on the line will be served. The timetables can be found at city-bahn.de -> News -> C14 Einsiedler Brauereifest ...
VMS and Deutschland tickets are valid. Otherwise, tickets can also be purchased from ticket machines on the train.
Willy Stößer, Head of Marketing at Einsiedler Brauerei: "We are delighted that two special City-Bahn trains will be in operation for our Oktoberfest. This is a special service for our guests to get home comfortably and safely."
Line C11 will also get revellers home safely: On 15, 22 and 29 September 2024, unscheduled disco trains will depart at 3:59 a.m. from Stollberg station to Chemnitz Zentralhaltestelle. All stops will be served.
