Chemnitz - Deutsche Bahn is replacing sleepers on the C14 railway line. This will affect rail traffic between Mittweida, Chemnitz and Thalheim. The disruptions will begin on Saturday, 12 April 2025 and end on Thursday, 24 April 2025.
The changes at a glance:
- On 12, 13, 14 and 22 to 24 April 2025, individual trains will run earlier from Chemnitz Kinderwaldstätte to Mittweida at night and in the morning.
- Between 14 and 17 April 2025, line C14 will only run between Thalheim and Chemnitz Hauptbahnhof. RB 45 services operated by Mitteldeutsche Regiobahn and occasional rail replacement services will run between Chemnitz Hauptbahnhof and Mittweida.
- On 18 April 2025 (Good Friday), line C14 will only run between Chemnitz Technopark and Chemnitz Hauptbahnhof. RB45 services operated by Mitteldeutsche Regiobahn or rail replacement services will run between Chemnitz Hauptbahnhof and Mittweida.
- On 19.04.2025, line C14 will only run between Thalheim and Chemnitz Hauptbahnhof until 18:30. The RB45 or rail replacement service will run between Chemnitz Hauptbahnhof and Mittweida.
