Glauchau/Gößnitz - Extensive route network modernisation by Deutsche Bahn is now slowing down the City-Bahn. Because the Gößnitz railway junction is being upgraded, the RB 37 to Glauchau will run in rail replacement traffic for a quarter of a year.
According to Deutsche Bahn, the barrier-free expansion of Gößnitz station with the commissioning of an electronic signal box will last until 25 August 2023 and means a total closure of the line from Saturday. City-Bahn managing director Friedbert Straube. "We were informed in good time and have organised rail replacement services from Saturday.
