We have been around since 1997 and as a municipal railway company in the heart of the "City of Modernity", we are the driving force behind the Chemnitz model and the most innovative transport provider in the region. On the rails, we combine the railway and urban tram network to form an efficient and integrated public transport system and offer people in the central Saxon conurbation a reliable, barrier-free and transfer-free transport connection to Chemnitz city centre - in the interests of the environment and for sustainable regional transport development.
To make it work with us, you need
- Completed training as a railwayman/-woman in operational service,
- a completed qualification as a tram driver, but this is not a must,
- a completed training course for trainers according to AEVO, but this is not a must,
- Several years of professional experience is now a must,
- Enjoy dealing with people,
- a high degree of responsibility, stress resistance, commitment, resilience, team spirit and empathy,
- a strong understanding of and openness to IT applications,
- Very good knowledge of German and basic English,
- a well-groomed, friendly and self-confident demeanour,
- Self-organisation and personal responsibility,
- Curiosity and openness to new things,
- a valid class B car driving licence and an available vehicle,
- Willingness to work shifts and weekends.
